Day by Day Itinerary in Detail

Day 1: Arrival at Queen Alia International Airport (AMM) – Amman

Arrival in Jordan: Arrival at Queen Alia International Airport. Full meet-and-assist by our airport team through customs. Private transfer to hotel in Amman for overnight. 


Overnight: Amman.

Day 2: Orjan Village Trail & Ajloun Nature Reserve

  • Days Focus: Rural Village Life & Northern Forest Trail.


  • Activity: Morning drive north to trek the Orjan Trail through wooded valleys and fig, pomegranate, and olive orchards. See historic water mills, hollow walnut trees, and poplar springs. Enjoy a traditional farm-to-table lunch prepared by local village families inside an orchard. Transfer to Ajloun Nature Reserve to explore evergreen oak and wild strawberry forests.


  • Overnight: Ajloun Woodland Cabins.

Day 3: Ajloun to Feynan Ecolodge & Bedouin Wilderness

  • Days Focus: Off-Grid Ecotourism & Araba Valley Wilderness.


  • Activity: Journey south to the western edge of the Dana Biosphere Reserve to check in to Feynan Ecolodge. Designed by architect Ammar Khammash, this candlelit lodge operates on solar power and is run in partnership with local Bedouin communities. Experience afternoon wilderness walks or Bedouin coffee-making traditions.


  • Overnight: Feynan Ecolodge.

Day 4: Feynan to Petra via the Back Door Trail

  • Days Focus: Back-Door Monastery Access & Ancient Capital.


  • Activity: Early morning departure to Petra. Enter the ancient Nabatean capital via the Back Door Trail, arriving first at the monumental Monastery (Ad Deir) before crowd arrival. Continue downhill past Royal Tombs and the Roman Street, finishing at the iconic Treasury (El Khazneh) and exiting up through the Siq.


  • Overnight: Petra.

Day 5: Classic Siq Entry to Petra then on to Wadi Rum

  • Days Focus: Classical Canyon Entry & Desert Jeep Safari.


  • Activity: Re-enter Petra via the main entrance to experience the walk through the Siq in morning light. Afternoon transfer to Wadi Rum. Board 4x4 open jeeps driven by local Bedouin drivers to explore Lawrence's Spring and Nabatean petroglyphs in Khazali Canyon. Enjoy traditional desert dinner and stargazing at camp.


  • Overnight: Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp.

Day 6: Wadi Rum to Aqaba (Red Sea Riviera)

  • Days Focus: Desert Sunrise & Coastal Relaxation.


  • Activity: Sunrise breakfast overlooking the red sands of Rum. Transfer south to Aqaba on the Red Sea coast. Free afternoon for snorkeling along vibrant fringe reefs, glass-bottom boat trips, or exploring local souks.


  • Overnight: Aqaba.

Day 7: Departure via QAIA

  • Final Airport Departure Logistics: Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Queen Alia International Airport (AMM) in Amman for departure flight.
